Born in Scilla, a small coastal village in Calabria, named after the Homeric nymph that terrorized the seas whose legend has been recounted for centuries in Italian folklore. In fear of this monstrous fate, or a similar destiny, Enza Morello quickly relocated to Bagnara Calabra where she remained until early adulthood when she packed her bags for Milan in order to pursue her studies in graphic design. Her first work as a graphic designer was for some of the oldest names in Italian Graphics, i.e. Heinz Waibl and Armando Milani, firms known in particular for their work in brand identity. Soon after which she moved on to develop her career in design as an art director at both Republic (Publicis Group) and Lorenzo Marini (The Networkone). It was here that she was able to refine her skills by working for a strong list of clientele whom were both Italian and International.
During her career in advertising Enza decided to pick up and move to London, in search of new “stimuli”. Here she expanded both her palette and her portfolio to include also the “anglo-saxon” graphical tastes. This enterprise was overseen by the English copywriter, Roland White and a group of highly-regarded Creative Directors, the likes of Claudio Pasqualetti (Duckworth Finn Grubb Waters), Nick Kidney (BBH), Saywhat (Saatchi&Saatchi), John Jessup (Leo Burnett), Nick Hutton (TBWA), and Andy Drugan (St. Lukes).
After her “break” she returned home to Italy to work for the American branding agency, Landor, where she launched the identity of the first division of the Italian Financial Group, Capitalia, under the supervision of the Italian CEO Antonio Marazza along with the Capitalia President Cesare Geronzi and Matteo Arpé.
Then in 2004, Enza left Landor to found St.Francis Design and Communication where she works as a consultant within the fields of Commercial Advertising and Brand Identity.
Since then she designed projects for: Lacoste Worldwide (Samsonite Italy), Grohe Italy, Design Continuum Italy (This project won the G.Mark International “Design Good Award 2006″, as example of innovation graphic design system), Tetra-Pak Worldwide (BP), Luxe.tv Italy (B&D), Coccinelle Accessories, Landor Italy.
