Red Bull & Cocoon team up to produce unique DJ table
“Companies are always looking for ways to break through the clutter, especially when activating their sponsorships,” Romaniuk said. “Product design is a great way to make your brand part of an experience – rather than just intruding on one.”Red Bull challenged Cocoon’s product design team by setting some interesting guidelines for the project. Most notably, the table had to avoid blatant representation of Red Bull – including their trademark blue and aluminum packaging colours or an obvious bull motif. Cocoon’s Director of Product Design, Craig Alun Smith, was ready to tackle the design task he was charged with.”Red Bull was ultimately looking to be the sole sponsor of the alive, electric sensation of being at a club,”Smith said. “We designed the table so the illuminated Red Bull logo panel can be replaced or flipped into a ’sleep mode’ during the day.”
