Arik Ben Simhon è uno dei nomi più conosciuti nel mondo del design israeliano. Arik si è affermato per il suo estro. Prende spunto da l mondo della moda combinando in maniera insolita e originale materiali e forme, creando oggetti sorprendenti. “Io progetto e realizzo il mio sogno. Mi piacerebbe essere in grado di contribuire a realizzare uno stile e non essere uno tra gli atri che cavalca un’onda. Io cerco di offrire un’alternativa: una casa che sia una collezione di oggetti raccolti nel corso del tempo, dove ogni elemento abbia una sua storia, un po’ come nel mio show room che porta in sé uno stile contemporaneo ma non alla moda. Non ho alcun dubbio che chi entra nel mio negozio lo senta un po’ come casa sua.”

Arik Ben Simhon is a well-known name in the Israeli design world.

In his showroom in Tel Aviv he recreates different interior settings, from the dining room to the bedroom and sophisticated lounges. “I design and create my own dream. I would like to contribute to creating a new style, rather than following the flow. I try to give an alternative, such as a house furnished with objects gathered through time, where each element has its own story, just like my showroom which features a contemporary style, though not fashionable. I am convinced that whoever comes into my showroom feels at home.”
