SkullPhone è il nome di un’icona che fa da un pò di tempo il giro del mondo, tanto da diventare anche un gadget natalizio distribuito nelle boutique più chiccose del pianeta. Aka Spazmat è il nome dell’artista di strada di Los Angeles che ha disegnato in ogni angolo delle città americane, questo ironico e a tratti inquietante cranio che parla al telefono. A me fa ridere ovvio, sopratutto applicato alle palline di Natale lo trovo esilarente come nonsense nel clima natalizio… se volete un albero di Natale cool… l’artista ha esposto in molte gallerie di NYC oltre ad avere un articolo nel supplemento domenicale del prestigioso New York Times.

SKULLPHONE Skull phone, aka Spazmat, is an LA-based street artist. His iconic imagery of a morbid yet witty skull holding a cell phone has been strategically placed along the urban skylines worldwide. This image epitomizes our times and breathes honesty, irony and humor simultaneously. Skullphone speaks coldly and anonymously to the public through the streets. Silkscreen and multimedia video installations are also a mainstay of Skullphone’s work.
